Gifts and Toys at Gravestones

I talked about coins left at gravestones in the past, but let's talk about gifts. It's not uncommon to leave gifts of remembrance at a grave site, such as flowers, but it's also pretty common nowadays to see toys and stuffed animals at a child's grave. It's perfectly acceptable to leave small gifts and tokens at a loved one's burial site, but please do keep in mind that many cemeteries might have regulations on that. Some places specify that large planters or shrubs cannot be placed because they are difficult to mow around.
