What About Recessed Headstones?

World, meet Percy. It's sad to see stones that get grown over, lost, and forgotten with time. This is partly why I don't like the more modern cemeteries that require all stones to be flush with the ground. I get that it's a lot easier to mow and maintain, but where is the beauty of an old graveyard with gorgeous carved monoliths, statues, and standing headstones? What are your thoughts on stones and cemetery rules?
